James Dean Behind Fence in Giant

Description

This black and white photograph features James Dean posed sitting behind a fence on the set of ‘Giant’, 1955.

Giant was the last of James Deans three films as a leading actor, and earned him his second and last Academy Award nomination – he was killed in a car crash before the film was released. Nick Adams was called in to do some voice dubbing for Deans role in ‘Giant’.
