Portrait of The Pretenders. Photographer Tony Mottram recalled ‘To my best recollection we travelled to Bristol on the band’s tour bus, Chrissie Hynde had a newborn child and a nanny with her so all was out of bounds for photos and the feature. I normally like to work quickly on a shoot and it was very cold, so the band seemed to be happy to get things over sharpish. I shot two rolls of black and white around a church we had found, all outside, through fences, some silhouettes, but this was one of the first shots as we left the tour bus to walk down to the chosen location.’ (Photo Tony Mottram) Edition 100
